Additional support on P2P cards, ETO reports, and other tools

Modified on Mon, 1 Jun at 5:04 PM

Thank you for the suggestion to provide support on the P2P cards, ETO reports and other tools. We agree that practical guidance is important for Coordinators and Tutors, especially when these tools connect to planning, reporting and workforce development.

What we are hearing from sites

  • A need for clearer guidance on how the P2P cards can be used in day-to-day delivery and supervision.
  • More confidence building support for ETO reporting and data use.
  • A preference for short, practical demonstrations rather than long or formal training sessions.
  • A clearer understanding of how each tool fits within the overall model.

These requests highlight the need for a systematic response across the network, rather than isolated or one-off sessions. Each item will be considered alongside the other expectations and work requests raised in this document so that we can plan support in a coordinated and manageable way.

At this stage we are exploring different ways to meet these needs. Webinars remain one possible option, but they may not always be the most effective format because of factors such as time zones and the part time nature of Coordinator and Tutor roles. We will also look at whether alternatives such as short practical guides may better support sites.

To ensure any future work is targeted and realistic, we will seek input from sites on what formats are most useful in practice. Prioritisation will be necessary so we can focus on areas with the greatest impact on day-to-day delivery.

Your feedback is genuinely valued. It helps us consider how to support the network in a balanced and systematic way, while ensuring that the tools already available are well understood and practical for Coordinators and Tutors.
